How GuardMyPrivacy works
Face recognition never saves your picture. The fine print — how well does this actually work?

We would rather be straight with you than oversell it.

  • In our testing, protection worked on about 9 out of 10 photos — tested on nearly 1,800 pictures against a leading face-recognition AI.
  • We tested against one recognition system. We cannot promise it works against every service out there, because we have not tested them all.
  • If a website heavily re-compresses your photo after you upload it, some of the protection may be lost. Always upload the file we give you, unedited.
  • Look closely at a protected photo and you may notice a faint texture. It is a real change to the picture, not a magic trick.

Think of this as a strong lock, not an invisibility cloak. It makes you much harder to find automatically — it is not a guarantee.
